With an urgent need for blood donations, the American Red Cross is holding a series of blood drives at Vanderbilt University Medical Center throughout the fall.
Members of the Vanderbilt community can make an appointment online at , through the or by calling 1-800-REDCROSS. Appointments are not required but may prevent waiting and accelerate donation times.
All donors who complete a successful donation will receive a free COVID-19 antibody test, which will be available 7 to 10 days after the donation through the Blood Donor App or through the donor portal at RedCrossBlood.org.
Anyone who donates at Light Hall will be required to adhere to .
The drives will take place in Light Hall at VUMC from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following dates:
